Coming Up: Yard Party for Art

Yard Party for Art

Inspiring art. High-tech fun. Live music. All of that plus good food, drinks and company will round out the Wiregrass Museum of Art’s annual Yard Party for Art on Saturday, August 12th, at 6 p.m.

About the Yard Party for Art

Now is the time to make your plans for a special evening of art, music and technology at this year’s Yard Party for Art held on the museum’s garden lawn.

There will be a variety of musical performances, a visual art installation by Jamey Grimes, interactive tech components and demonstrations, yard games, a pop-up WMA shop and more! The yearly fundraiser supports the museum’s mission to cultivate a lifelong appreciation of the arts through innovative educational programs with diverse audiences in mind.

Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to sit comfortably on the lawn while listening to the rocking sounds of this year’s musical headliner, Stay Outside. The rock-and-roll trio from the Midwest released their 2019 EP Bottle Rocket and made waves in the industry with their self-produced, self-directed video for “All the Way Down.”

Other musical guests include Carver Commodore from Florence, Gabrielle Grace from Nashville and Suaze from Birmingham.

There is a presale for tickets going on now through August 9th! Tickets currently start at $20, but the price goes up to $25 on August 10th through August 12th.
