Consistency is key! If you want to improve your health, the Dothan Mayor’s 90 Day Challenge will teach you discipline. Plus, it’s simple too! All you need to do is exercise for a mile each day. You can even choose what you do, like walking or biking. You’re welcome to do longer, but it’s not required!

Did we mention that you can win prizes? Get a tracker card from one of the town’s recreation centers, and mark down your accomplishments. Then, turn it in at the end of the challenge. That way, you’ll be eligible to win!

What exercises can I do to participate in the Dothan Mayor’s 90 Day Challenge?

As it turns out, trying a variety of different exercises can help you maintain your fitness. That way, you never get bored! If you want to participate in the Dothan Mayor’s 90 Day Challenge, you can:

What trails can I visit?

One of the main goals of the Dothan Mayor’s Challenge involves showing residents our lovely trails! So, if you don’t know which to visit, we have a few ideas. You can check out:

  • Westgate Park Trail, which is 3.5 miles long and located at 501 Recreation Road;
  • Forever Wild Trails Loop, which is 10.8 miles long and is located at 384 Narcisse Drive;

How long does the challenge last?

The Dothan Mayor’s 90 Day Challenge began earlier this month on January 8. They say better late than never—so you can still participate. It will run until April 7. Fun fact: that date also happens to be #NationalWalkingDay.
