According to a recent news story produced by wtvy.com, Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce President Matt Parker said the restaurant and entertainment center is set to move ahead with plans to open in the renovated Circle West Theaters building now that incentives promised to the developer are approved.
The Circle West Theaters building in the Circle West Shopping Center, has been empty for more than 10 years. Reconstructed and renovated at a cost of $1.6 million, the 18,000 square-foot building offers more than enough room for Hanger 38 in Dothan. This will will be the brand’s second location.

Hangar 38 is a concept that was developed by three Tallahassee, Fla., businessmen who were lamenting the lack of family entertainment in their hometown while playing golf. By the end of the round, plans were in the works to create a business like no other in the area—part bowling alley, part monster game room, and part high-quality restaurant.
The original location has bowling lanes, 79 arcade games, a full-service restaurant and bar. There is even a Redemption Room where you can pick out cool prizes with points earned while gaming.
